      • Sub-commission of Place Names The Sub-commission of Place Names provides opinions on the use of place names in cartographical publications and official texts, as well as on the preservation, restoration, and allocation of place-names.
      • Sub-commission on the Latgalian Written Language The Sub-commission on the Latgalian Written Language promotes the regulation of the cultural environment of the language, particularly, through ensuring the development, and implementation of unified orthography of the Latgalian written language.
